Package Tears of Freya Gold - Necklace & Earrings

Freja's Tears is a beautiful jewelry collection consisting of necklaces and earrings in gold-plated vermeil. The inspiration for the design comes from the tale of Freja and her deep longing for her husband Odr, who was often away on long journeys. When the loss became too great, Freya set out to look for him. Her tears fell to the ground and turned into gold, which people who found the gold in the forest saw as a sign of her presence.

The jewelry is handmade in Sweden from 100% recycled sterling silver (935) and refined with a plating of 24 carat gold. The collection is created to celebrate strong emotions and timeless design.
